Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and inspection, ensuring that projects meet quality standards and adhere to regulations.
Job Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Construction Inspector located in the Monroe, LA area. This position will assume project oversite to observe compliance on various types of infrastructure projects such as public utilities, drainage and roadways for local public and private clients. The Construction Inspector will be responsible for conducting site inspections, ensuring quality control, and documenting construction progress. Vehicle allowance will be provided for use of personal vehicle on the job.
Qualifications
- Experience in civil site inspections and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and address potential issues
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to prepare clean and concise Daily Inspection Reports
- Operational knowledge of field inspection equipment and measurement tools
- LA DOTD Technician Certifications or the willingness to obtain relevant certifications as soon as possible
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $31.25 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week
